blossom trees

under a row of blossom trees
i walk
my skirt flutters in the breeze
the cotton candy pink
blossom clouds
let go
like cherry-scented snowflakes
petals flutter
and fall
i stop
lie down on the moss green grass
and looking to the azure sky
through tangled webs
of branches
budding leaves
and blooms that still hold on
i realise
that someday budded leaves will
surface
change to crimson
fall
so i drink in this
cotton candy snowstorm
for now
